Handling of enquiries concerning the academy programs, team schedule etc., Trainees participating in JSSL-Arsenal League, kindly note of remaining match days for the 2007/2008 season. U8 & U10 – April 27 and May 11. U12 & U14 – April 20, May 4 and 18. It is interesting to note if U8 Red & U12 Red are able to remain unbeaten for the whole season. NEW SATURDAY MORNING CLASS has commenced since April 5 from 9:00am to 10:30am in Turf City. Training session is for all trainees born 1995 to 2000. This class was created due to numerous requests from trainees in the afternoon class seeking an alternative option in lieu of them having other commitments. ISA’s SENIOR team made up of our coaches, associates, fathers & youth players clinched our second ESPZen Champions Cup on March 9 by defeating Team 204 (Division Two Champion) 3-1 at the Singapore Sports School. ESPZen League is a competitive amateur men’s league catering for locals and expatriates totalling over 80 teams in 9 divisions. ISA is the most successful team in the entire league having garnered 5 consecutive Division 1 titles, 2 Champions Cups & 2 Sunday Morning league titles. Our U17 trainees are currently competing in the new Saturday’s League. Kindly visit www.espzen.com. DAD’S ARMY team is recruiting players for informal training every Monday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm at the newly-opened astro-turf THE PITCH in Turf City. Interested fathers in need of a weekly football work-out, please do come around. We will arrange weekend matches for the team thus the need for a big pool of players in lieu of your travelling commitment. December 2007 ISA wishes everyone a memorable festive season. Merry X'Mas and a Happy 2008! Oct' 20: ISA defended the second COPA ISA U10 International 7-aside Tournament with teams from Tang Mo Academy (Thailand), Chachoengsao FC (Thailand), Global FA - Singapore and Brazilian Soccer School (Singapore). Nov' 17: ISA's U10 & U12 clinched the first REACH YOUR GOAL 9-aside International Tournament with teams from SSI-Arsenal (Indonesia), JSSL-Arsenal (Singapore) and Global FA - Japan & Singapore. Nov' 23-25: ISA returned from a successful Bangkok tour winning the U10 and U12 second NOVOTEL Cup 7-aside Championships. Our U8 and U16 grabbed the runners-up spots while U14 came in third. All 5 podium finishes brought smiles all around as we head back to Singapore after a hectic two-days' round of matches! Well done and thank you to all players and supporters! Dec' 1-8: ISA's U15 bounced back after a 1-7 'mauling' from Malaysia on Dec' 02 to beat Japan 1-0 the next day in the Singapore Sports School International Challenge Cup 2007. Amidst heavy downpour on Dec' 05, ISA succumbed 1-5 to Singapore 'A'. Overall, it was an invaluable experience as ISA competed admirably against Elite teams. Three cheers to our boys! Dec' 02: ISA clinched the U7, U8 & U10 titles in the third MAXELL Cup Invitational Tournament organized by Global FA-Japan. JSSL-Arsenal League is taking a month's break and expects to resume on January 13, 2008. Our Term 2 will end on December 15. Term 3 will commence from January 12, 2008.
